ABOUT US
Changing the culture of marriage.
Bringing together couples, churches, and leaders to strengthen marriages through practical support, mentorship, and shared resources.
A COLLABORATIVE MOVEMENT
The Central Coast Marriage Collective is a collaborative movement of churches, leaders, and couples working together to strengthen marriages.
Many churches want to prioritize marriage but lack the staffing, scale, or infrastructure to sustain it.
The Collective bridges that gap by providing shared resources, training, and events that any church can access.
Together, we’re building a network where couples can find help and churches can support marriages with confidence.
What the Collective Provides

From immediate help to long-term pathways, the Collective makes it easier for couples to find support and for churches to walk alongside them.

WHERE IT STARTED
After decades of pastoral ministry and marriage mentoring, Curt and Rhonda Hamner saw a pattern.
Churches wanted to support marriages but lacked the resources to sustain it. Couples were looking for help but didn’t know where to turn.
Rather than creating another isolated program, the vision became something bigger. A collective that would unite churches, strengthen leaders, and create clear pathways for couples.
That vision became the Central Coast Marriage Collective.
MEET CURT & RHONDA HAMNER
Curt and Rhonda have spent over four decades investing in marriages and more than 25 years in pastoral and marriage ministry.
Curt served as a pastor for 23 years before stepping into full-time marriage ministry. Together, they’ve coached, taught, and walked with couples across the country and internationally.
A GROWING REALIZATION
Through their work with churches, couples, and national marriage initiatives like the Community Marriage Initiative (CMI), they began to see a pattern.
Churches were eager to invest in marriages but often lacked the structure, staffing, or resources to sustain it. At the same time, couples needed help, but finding the right support wasn’t always clear or accessible.
Through their marriage ministry, Between Two Trees, they saw this play out again and again. What started as hands-on work with couples pointed to something larger. A connected, local movement that could equip churches and create clear pathways for couples across the region.
That vision became the Central Coast Marriage Collective.
TODAY’S VISION
Today, their focus is building a unified, sustainable approach to strengthening marriages.
They believe marriage is more than a relationship. It is a foundation for spiritual growth, family stability, and generational impact.
